The Atomic Shift 10 MN is the the world’s first binding with full touring and freeride capability in one. It’s a genuine tech binding for hiking. Flick the hike/ride switch to ski mode and it turns into a genuine freeride binding for the way down, compatible with all ISO normed boots on the market – alpine and touring. No need to compromise when you’re touring or skiing the resort– either by hiking with a heavy solution like frames or skiing downhill with pins. You get the best for both. And even better, you can also use it for your alpine skiing days with your normal alpine boot. Finally, one binding for everything!
This is truly high performance, extremely price competitive version of an MNC AT binding. Freedom is what these bindings are all about. Now you can climb those hidden powder stashes, skip the lift lines and make your own trails. The Low Profile Chassis features a low stand height for greater stability and enhanced terrain feedback, and the Oversized Platform enables maximum power transmission and responsiveness for more precise turns even at higher speeds. Thanks to the Hike & Ride Switch, the skis no longer have to be removed when switching between hiking and riding modes – a simple push with the ski pole is all that’s required. A clear advantage on easy, undulating terrain.
These bindings feature 2 climbing positions. Switching from hike to ride can be done by hand. These also feature a full DIN release for safe riding downhill that locks in place. Sole height is also adjustable to accommodate a variety of ski and AT boots. These are at a price point that makes these a deal compared to other backcountry two position bindings.

My Favorite Binding
Finally! A Light backcountry binding that skis with the power and familiarity of an alpine downhill binding! I have used this binding extensively and it is my go to for ski guiding in Japan where you need to transition in and out of resorts on the daily. I don’t have to sacrifice stability and reliability for performance. This binding has it all!

NOTE: If using for ascents, you will need skins. Skins remove at the top of the mountain so you can ride down with maximum glide. Skins can fit in backpack or large pocket. These bindings do not include skins.
