Description
These Summit Marauder 125 cm GS Skiboards are built for all possibilities. The Summit Marauder 125 cm GS Skiboards Atomic Ski Bindings feature a wide body platform and traditional camber, these twin tip skiboards are built for speed and charging it all day long. As with all Summits, these are handcrafted one pair at a time with extreme attention to detail. Die-cut sintered bases ensure the perfect frictionless glide (sintered is chosen for maximum wax absorption). The Marauders feature a custom painted silk-screened top sheet and is covered by our special 3D carbonium topsheet for maximum durability. In addition, a beveled sidewall further assists in top sheet protection.
Designed for true all mountain riding, the Summit Marauder 125 cm GS Skiboards are at home anywhere in the resorts including those breathtaking steep chutes, moguls or flying through the glades. Symmetrical twin tips beg for playtime in the parks. These are also great for the backcountry and make perfect ascent skis – lots of floatation, yet so much easier to turn as compared to longer skis.
New is an upgraded sintered graphite base material for maximum wax retention, durability and enhanced speed.
Do they carve? The parabolic sidecut functions impeccably with the northern birch vertically laminated wood core to deliver effortless, lay-it-over carves and the stability at speed will totally amaze you. The Marauders feature a high energy wood core sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass providing just the right combination of flex and torsional stiffness. Rubber dampening layer absorbs shock. An additional layer of Kevlar is is added for not only extra strength and impact resistance, but super long durability that maintains the energetic pop in the skiboards.
Recommended for: intermediate, advanced to expert riders. These Marauders are the most advanced of the Summit Lineup, truly taking you past the limits of your riding potential.
Perfect for: keeping up with and passing skiers and snowboarders, providing excellent speed and smooth carving. Excellent on hardpack and ice as well as powder and soft snow. These provide access to backcountry and off trail, as well as hitting the chutes, terrain parks and ripping groomed runs. These are quite versatile.

ABS Sidewall Construction: Crafted with ABS sidewall construction, the Marauder construction provides many advantages over cap construction. Among these advantages are increased torsional stability, greater edge protection, enhanced power transfer to the edges, improved vibration dampening, greater strength and a full length flex from tip to tail. Translated, these will ride like no other skiboards you have ridden. Traditional Camber: Camber produces stable footing at high speed with maximum edge grip, being able to tackle early morning groomed to East Coast ice without effort. This means smooth carving edges that you can trust when you need it the most. Wood core: vertically laminated birch wood core runs the full length of the skiboards, tip to tail, providing a highly responsive energy as well as greater long term durability. The wood is Northern Hemisphere birch which is very light, yet super strong. Colder temperatures create wood that is denser, thus super strong, while being very light in weight. This is why we choose wood from the Northern Hemisphere. 360 full wrap Rockwell carbon steel edges: protects your skiboards from those unexpected dings while providing superior edge grip. Edges are sand blasted prior to assembly to ensure a perfect, secure fit. Wide Body Shape: a large skiboard surface area for maximum stability, floatation and speed. Symmetrical Twin-tips: makes it easier to ride forwards as well as backwards. Excellent handling in the parks and pipes. Also, makes for the most perfect carves. Die-Cut Sintered bases: this is one of the best base materials for durability, maximum wax absorption and speed. These p-tex 4000 bases have less friction and thus more speed as well as less vulnerability to abrasion and impacts. 3D Carbonium Top Sheet: one of the strongest top sheets available (and very rare) that not only offers amazing top sheet protection from those potential dings and chips, but allows the sharp graphics to show through in all their detail. Includes UV protective layer. Special aluminum layer under the top sheet for maximum binding retention. Sidewall bevel: sidewalls are angled to further protect the top sheet from dings and chips. Base bevel 1 degree and side bevel of 89 degrees: great for carving with ease. These aggressive edges are great for ice, and lay it over carving.

Doc, these are really a great all Mountain ski. My family also has a set of 118 summit ski boards i ski on in our arsenal. We bought this second pair with a bit more length for the back county and powder days we chase down every year.
The only complaint I dare speak of it’s the top sheet is far too sharp and right angled when new and leads to it chipping and de laminating no matter how far apart you attempt to keep them. We ski hard and in tight conditions.
We ended up putting a good 45 and then rounded the top in order to keep it from continuing. That stopped it in its tracks and we will do the same on the new set before it hits the snow. There are 2 full seasons on the 118s now
With none of us over 5’8” and 135lbs the ski boards work great. Trees and bumps seem to be the greatest place they really shine when a longer all Mountain shape ski gets almost too long in tight turns. It seems that the 118 floats in ankle to knee deep powder the same as a 156 all Mountain shape ski

Great buying experience. The skis, AT bindings, and skins were very comfortable for test climb up Corona Way at Winter Park.

Doc was amazing and friendly! He answered all my questions and did so in a timely manner as well. I have not used them yet. I plan on using them come april for my trip to Colorado! If they are anything like doc says they are, then I’m in for a treat!

If jeep were to make skis these would be it. Great going down the hill great going up the hill really boring on the golf course, but they weren’t designed for golf courses. I haven’t used them on the down hill slope yet, but they will be fast I’m sure. I will never out ski these.

These units are soo easy to ride I doubt I’ll go back to regular length skis…
