The Sporten Stringer Fun Carver 99 cm Skiboards with Fixed Ski Boot Bindings are truly high quality skiboards. Among the features are a parabolic shape for ease of turning and fast carving as well as an ABS Stiffener for stability at speed. In addition, these feature a snakeskin top sheet for durability, die cut extruded bases for speed and glide and a Polyfly core with biaxial fiberglass which makes them lightweight, yet with just the right flex to make your day super fun on the slopes. The Sporten is an affordable pair of skiboards complete with bindings with a quality high end construction and excellent performance.
The Sporten Stringer Fun Carver 99 cm Skiboards with Fixed Ski Boot Bindings are super easy to ride, turn and stop on and a great way to check out the sport of skiboarding. These definitely are a step up from the original Salomon snowblades in terms of performance and durability, yet with similar turn radius and feel. Bindings are quick fit.
Sporten has been making skiboards since the early 2000’s and knows what they are doing. If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to experience skiboarding, this is a great choice. Great for all ages with height at or above 5 feet. These are fun carving skiboards which is what customers love about the sport in general. And yes sometimes people call them snowblades like the Salomon snowblades or skiblades!
Recommended for: beginner to intermediate riders. Best on groomed runs, moguls, all mountain and hardpack/ice.
Bindings: Non-release fixed adjustable bindings fit ski boots approximately 4-13 U.S. Adjustable without tools by hand. These are a super easy fixed binding to adjust. Includes leashes required by ski resorts. Note these are a step up from usual fixed step in bindings.
