Description
The ever popular Elan Freeline 99cm skiboards step-in release bindings are new for the 2021/22 winter season. With new graphics this season, the Elan Freeline 99cm skiboards are lightweight, easy to turn and just a super fun time. For those who don’t know, Elan has been in the skiboard market for well over a decade, always coming out with numerous, innovative models, including the Elan Rollerski. Of course sometimes these have been called skiblades or snowblades, but the official term is Skiboards!
This season’s entry offers the Elan 99 in an affordable, all-in-one package with mounted safety release bindings and a narrow profile for ease of use.
Elan Freeline 99cm Skiboards Step-in Release Bindings Construction:
Elan’s quality construction features a tip-to-tail wood core, asymmetrical twin tips and come pre-mounted with Elan’s full feature EL10 step-in release bindings. Asymmetrical twin tips allow for forwards/backwards riding with ease. Bindings include brakes so no leashes necessary. The Elan Freeline 99cm Skiboards are made with a rugged “snakeskin” top sheet to provide maximum durability against nicks and scratches. Bases are graphite – extra durable and fast.
Performance:
The Elan Freeline 99cm Skiboards Step-in Release Bindings provide a smooth ride with quick edge-to-edge carving. Elan Skis are known worldwide for their attention to detail and impeccable quality in ski manufacturing. Not only are these great at speed with surprising stability, but these just look great. For those who have ridden skiboards such as the Salomon snowblades, you will find a noticeable difference with these in terms of performance, speed (with no chatter) and a much more fun and smooth ride.
“These are great, all around skiboards for varying conditions including ice, hardpack, crud, corn and even powder. Really nice ride and love the integrated package of bindings and boards color matched. This is a great entry into the 99cm market. You won’t be disappointed.” Doc Roberts, President, Skiboards.com

The shipping was fast, the customer service was excellent. They were very flexible in updating me on backorder delays and shipping options in advance of my ski trip.
The Elan Freeland 99 was excellent, and my family was able to easily share the skis throughout the day. Two guys I our group rode blacks and blues in Plattekill, and it served well with many of the small jumps on side of trail and in some of the blue rollers. It also aided greatly in learning ski switch. Lastly, although we had a ski key lock for it (so fun, we didn’t want it getting “lost”) and we locked it up several times, the 99 skis were also small enough to being into lodge for food.
Overall it was great service and an enjoyable ski.
