K2 Fatty review
I have recently rode the K2 Fatties and I regret to say, despite K2's
profound reputation, that I was very disappointed. Even though they are
meant to be a fatter model I still found them too skinny. 1-1.5 cm wider
would be more beneficial when riding in powder. I also found that on icy
conditions at high speeds the tips would flap against the snow, which cut
down on control. Because I'm 6'3 190lbs and I've been skiboarding for four
years I would not recommend them for someone with my build or experience. I
would, however, recommend them to a shorter boarder with less experience.
Lastly, I do have to say that they were very good when merging through the
begginner runs to get to the chairlift where speeds are reduced and the
terrain is more flat and groomed.

"...I got some k2 fatty's. I've got to admit, the K2's were better than the Salomons, but I would take
Salomons any day also. Now I've used my new skiboards about 4 times, and I am going in board parks
and moguls, and having a blast. Hopefully I can upgrade my skiboards to some Journeys or something in a few years.
