But don't want to lug skiboards, boots, snowshoes, etc.? The new Grimper skiboards by Kong now make it possible to go anywhere you choose, offering total freedom to the outdoor enthusiast. With one integrated system, you can cruise downhill, whether it be your favorite resort or secret stash, with a fixed, non-release skiboard binding and rip it up. On descents, the aggressive sidecut of these skiboards allows for breathtaking carves, while the wide body design allows you to float through the soft stuff. A 360 degree stainless steel edge makes sure you have an easy time on the ice and hard pack, always taking you down the mountain in style. Then when you get the urge to climb and forge your own path, simply unscrew the knob, slide your bindings forward and flip up the climbing heel and free heel it up the slopes or anywhere else the snow invites you to go. Skins make uphill ascents even easier and apply/remove quickly. Skins are made of nylon and 70% mohair with a reusable adhesive. Globetrotter bindings fits the Salomon Verse boots, all other regular ski boots, hardshell snowboard boots and crampon-ready mountaineering boots. Details: The Globetrotter binding-device has a main plate which slides on a rail and offers three positions corresponding to different uses: walking on flat surfaces, walking uphill, or descent. It just takes unscrewing the knob to quickly change the adjustment.
